Eos Nox Lykaios

Before ARR

Eos is a viera orphaned who grew up with the Rava clan in the Golmore Jungle, primarily by the Muscadet family who took her in upon her parents death. Although male viera do not reside with the clan, Eos grew up knowing a loving mother and father as well as an older step-brother named Fennel. Fennel and Eos were inseparable as children, often being seen playing at the outskirts of the forest. When Fennel was of age and had to relocate to living with his father outside of the village, Eos went with him. Not without protests from her step-mother and not without warnings from the clan elder of renouncing her standing with the clan, yet Eos felt the need to stay by Fennel's side. 

 

While the Rava clan has been successful in maintaining their own governance of the Jungle despite numerous attempts from Dalmasca and the Empire, Eos has had close fights with a few soldiers. As an adept hunter Eos has a significant understanding of her surroundings and the movements of her enemies/prey. 

During an altercation between a few soldiers, her father’s men were hunted down and killed. Fennel managed to escape but was severely wounded as the result of a gunshot. Eos subdued the wound and was able to travel with Fennel to Doma where she would seek refuge and passage to Girdania.

It was during this long and arduous trek that Eos’ echo awakened. All of this pain and suffering has to have been for a reason, she thought. Through the echo she saw the rage and hurt inside Fennel. She was told Gridania’s Conjurer’s guild could help fully heal Fennel and provide some guidance on her new-found power.
